Download a KML file for GoogleEarth
To use this file, you must have already downloaded the (free) GoogleEarth application: GoogleEarth
To download the KML file of VDC stations and events: KML
Save this file to your disk.
Drag it into the MyPlaces windown of GoogleEarth and it will then download all of the stations and events on the VDC into GoogleEarth. This information will be updated every 24 hours or on demand.
GoogleEarth will display red circles for events and yellow circles for stations. If you click on one of the circles, it will display the name, date, magnitude and no. of stations available for that earthquake; or name, code, and station owner for that station, respectively. Clicking on the name will take you to the VDC page for that earthquake or station.
